Chapli Kebab
INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 lb ground beef or lamb 
- 3 tbsp corn meal 
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped 
- 2 tbsp ground coriander 
- 1 tbsp ground cumin 
- 1 tbsp sumac 
- 3 green chillies, finely chopped 
- 1" knob of ginger, finely chopped 
- 1 tbsp salt 
- 1/2 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped 
- 1 egg 
DIRECTIONS
1. Mix all of the ingredients together, cover and refrigerate for 1-3 hours to marinate.
2. Form the meat mixture into balls and flatten with your hand and shape into patties.
3. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the patties on both sides until golden and the meat is cooked through.
4. Serve with pita, chopped chili, lemon wedges and fresh cilantro.
